harrrloo~~~

i noe i noe... it's been ages since my last post... aiyo... bz mah... n of cos, lazy mah... hehehehe...

Now back in kl after a short week of hol in JB... din reali go out alot tat time, just brought some of my frens from kl who went to Johor-Singapore trip go around when they were in JB... Brought them go makan kuey tiao kia and went to CT cafe (city plaza) hang out... Apparently, they love it... hehehe... Me n Mr Pilot Wong oso joined them to d visitation at Hospital Permai... It's reali educational lah... Been reading alot bout it, but this is d 1st time we encounter d real cases... We actuali got d opportunity to go into their ward n talked to a few of them... quite cool actuali...

During d hol, i oso took d chance to bake a cake... with d recipe provided by Ms GreyFish, with d help of baobei Erin, i baked my very own blueberry cheese cake!!! WOOO HOOO~~~!! it's for my parents, their bday presents... I noe they love cheesecake, especially blueberry cheesecake... but they alwaz say those outside 1 sell too exp d, so they cant bear to buy it... n it's so small piece oni... so this time i decided to bake 1 whole cake for them myself... 1st time bake cake, but it was a total success!! my parents were so surprise... hehehe... they luv it... they said it's as good as those selling outside, or even better!!! Cos it's not too sweet for them, quite cheesy n got alot alot alot of blueberry filling, which they love it... hahahaha!!!

on 5th, i came back to KL d, cos 6tth is d orientation... went to coll early in d morning to prepare for d orientation tour... 5 new students were under me... took them around n intro them to d environment around d coll... not bad lah, eventho d weather was kinda warm n we hv to wear tat black thick bsych t-shirt... but those new students in my tour said d tour was good... hehehe.... next day, on 7th, went to coll in d morning prepare for d 2nd day of orientation again... tat day was gaming session... we prepared alot of games for them to play... whole thing finished at 3pm+... tiring, but fun... hehehe... got alot feedback from them as well... they siad it's very interesting and challenging... not bad not bad... then our effort din go waste, especially d social event coordinator who burn midnight oil for this... hehehe...

now just relax oni... waiting for class to start next week... sure hv to enjoy this free time... cos once d class started, i noe will b hell lot of bz again... hahaha...

Research Colloquium Jan 2009...

For d past week, i had been bz like hell!!!... literally hell!!! hv to do 2 poster in a week!!! dang!!!! for those who duno, in HELP Bpsych (tat's wat we call ourselves, shortform of bachelor of psychology program), we do need to do poster for some certain subject... a assignment of either a real research conducted, or a research proposal, or a explanation of a theory, we need to put all those into a poster... design a poster... this semester, i did 2... 1 for my advanced quatitative methodology and 1 for my adolescence and adult development subject... this is d reason tat i had less than5 hours of sleep for d past 3 days... dang!!! on tues, me n my group member stayed back after lecture to do d poster until 11pm+... after home, each of us continue doing it... me myself did until 4am+ oni sleep... got up 7am+ d next day to go for d poster defence (a session where lecturer/ judge will come n review our poster... defence literally means tat they will shoot ques n we need to ans it well to defence our research)... it was my 1st poster defence... i tot gona b reali scary... but things turns out nicely!!! we din reali defence... my group and i were talking most of d time n Dr Albert just keep nodding... he barely ask any ques... it's like we're attacking rather than defencing... hahahaha!!! then he complimented our poster!! he said he like d complex design, yet we manage to get significnat results n supported our hypotheses!!! woohooo~~~!!!

Forgot to mention, my group research is about the relationship between leadership styles and time management... there are tons of research on this area... However, there are oso many kinds of leadership styles and time management styles... but none of them (from our search) reali explore the relationship between democratic, authoritarian, laissez-faire, chaotic leadersip styles with goal setting, prioritization, interruption management, procastination, scheduling, and assessment and adaptation... so our research is kinda pioneer of it... sound cool eh? hehehe!!! 1st time ever, we got significant result n supported our hypotheses!!! cool!!!

so wed, i had to tutoring session in a roll, 1 PAL n 1 private... after back home, i go check d website... guess wat, my group poester was chosen to go for d second round of competition during research colloquium... oni 5 posters in d whole class were chose, n ours is 1 of them... wahahahaha... so hapi seh!!! at nite straight away go my other group member's house do my d other poster d... got home 12am+ n slept at 1am+... next day, got up early in d morning again for d private tutoring again... n after tat, i gotmy pay!!! felt so nice to receive d pay... tat's wat i had been looking forward for!! hahahaa... after class, then went dinner with my group members and then continue do d poster... got home at 4:30am... took a warm bath, then continue do d work until 6am+ oni sleep... next day, got up at 9am+, then go college do stuff again... bz like hell...

so today, 4th of april 2009, our research colloquium... reach college at 8:30am then 9am our poster defence starts... things were fast... for advanced quans, ms winnee asked alot of ques on d result part, as tat's our main thing n she was d former lecturer of tat sub as well... she noe stats better than most of d ppl... inside out... im quite confident in everything in d result and d analysis, cos tat's d part i do... but guess wat, she asked other group member to ans... dang!!! i tried to ans, but she stopped me... apparently she noe tat i noe everything bout it, tat's y she 1na test other group member... we struggled abit with tat... was quite worried... then i go for my other defence session for my other poster... d other poster was gila.. she barely asked any ques then left jor... =.=

after d long wait, until d last session of d whole day at 4:45pm, d prize giving ceremony... "for PSY 202, the best poster award goes to, yek wei's group..." then, roar of applause pouring like heavy rain... wooo hoooo~~~!!!! we won!!! so hapi seh!!! our hardwork din go in vain... it's my 2nd colloquium, n both i won smth!!! soooooo hapi!!! mayb can set a target tat every colloquium oso 1na win smth... hahahaha... but sadly, for another poster, we din manage to win it... but nvm, will try harder... here are some pics:

T.T went to ngau che sui eat steamboat... d steamboat was ok, but d chat n jokes were nice... had such a nice meal, so full... jian, take k lah... i noe u can do well there de... it's alwas been ur dream...

Trekathon 2009

On 28th of March 2009, it's d HELP University College Trekathon again!!! Well, it suppose to b in the august semester... Duno y this year change to Jan semester d... So basically last year, which is also last semester i took part of it, n then 2 days ago, i took part of it again...

D place is still d same, Bukit Gasing, PJ... D crowd seems to b bigger than last year... With d new Bpsych sport jersey, we all gathered there in d morning... After quite a long delay, d race started!!! D trek condition is d same as last year, as d night b4 d race rained, so it's seriously muddy... i keep running n climbing... Not to mentioned, i fell 3 times as well... n finally, i finished!!! I dare say i myself think tat i performed better than last year... Last year was my 1st time participate in tat race... so i din reali hv any preparation for tat... Neither physically nor mentally... I ended up rest bout 5 times at d 2nd half of d trek, which is steep climbing of d hill... This year, eventho i din reali prepare it physically, but im mentally prepared.... all d way i climb n ran... n i oni rested 2 times n then i go all d way up n finished d whole trek... but guess wat, my placing is worse than last year!!! Last year, i got overall 33 n num 6 in my department... but this year, i got overall 50 n 17th in my department... =.="""

Well, d open house of Datin Chan's house is still there, as usual... d food was nice... eventho it's not much, as in variety, but seriously taste good!!! then is d prize giving ceremony... 1st prize for men, from Bpsych!!! yay!!! women category bpsych oso got good performances!!! eventho i duno d exact placing, but i heard from d student council president, he said bout 50% of d top 10 of men n women are from Bpsych!! Wow!!! hahahaha... then i tot... actuali is not i lousy lah... is memang got alot strong ppl running... no wonder i got so low placing loh... nvm nvm... hehehe... then this year got new category for competition... staff!!! staff champion.... bpsych again!!! it's from 1 of my tutor... he oso number 10 for overall placing... honestly, he looks like kampung chicken... slim but can ran fast!!! hahahaha... n another new category, men n women team... n guess wat, Bpsych is d champion again!!! wohohohohhoho... wat is lagi surprising? d top 20 for men n top 15 for women in department placing get to get a medal!! which means, me, as d 17th of d department, got to get a gold medal!!! woooo hoooooo~~~!!! hahahaha... seriously very surprise loh... study in HELP for almost 2 years d, this is my 1st medal man!!! sooooo hapi~~~!!! hahahahaha...

At nite, me, amanda,fei po bee n matt went to look out point... it's oso called small genting... it's at ampang, up on a hill... got a few restaurant there at d hill side with great scenery of KL... tat nite they suddenly 1na go there cos it's earth day!!! they 1na c all d lights go off during d Earth hour... when we go there, it's soooooo crowded!!! jam all d way from half way up d hill... we spent more than 30min jam there =.= when reach d place, we went to gasoline to makan... once we go in, my god!!! full again!!! waited for 30min to get a small table, 4 of us sharing... we tot would be pitch black in KL when we look down.... who noes, still as bright as ever!!! hahahahaha!!! this reali show how uncoperative malaysian r!!! so crowded, so it's no surprise our food n drinks took so long to come... we chatted alot, especially on lame jokes... Amanda, i seriously duno u can b tat lame... hahahaha... then at around 9:30pm, it's time to on d light!!! guess wat, no much diff oso... hahahahaha!!! it's such a dissapointment to fei po bee n amanda cos they 1na c d before n after of Earth hour... who noe they saw nth... hahahaha... I got home almost 12am tat nite... super tired, but an enjoying day... with my MEDAL!!! n of cos a nice hang out at look out point...

After he finished his line, tears started rolling down his cheeks again... He continues bury himself in his knees, crying helplessly and hopelessly...

God left him there, with the blessing that the man would get his happiness again, soon...

Surprise!!!

Im back!!!! but not for long... hahahaha... i noe i noe... i noe i've disappeared for a while d... no choice... bz mah... everyweek got assignment due, bz like hell...

anyways, just a quick update... last sat, 14th of March, i was shocked when D told me i got a pressie? huh? y suddenly got a pressie geh? D tried to hint me so much... by telling me it's 14th~~~!!! D asked me wat day is tat... i was like "14th? huh? HELP open day??" D like so zadao... then D showed me a toilet roll... this reali added my question marks on my head... then oni she ask me wat colour is tat? then oni OOOOooooooooooo!!!! White day!!!

FYI, white day is a day more commonly celebrated in Japan n Korea... In the culture there, February 14 is guys preparing everything for d gal he likes... so if d gal oso interested to d guy, she will in turn prepare stuff for d guy on White Day, which is exactly a month later, March 14... Well, here comes my pressie!!! D asked me to guess wat is tat... i guessed a few items, but D din gv me any confirmation of my ans... so yest, finally i saw D again n received my pressie... OMG!!! Sooooooooooo nice!!!! it's a towel with my name on it!!! I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!!! wah.....!!!!

Anyways, bz life still going on like never ending... just noe tat im gona miss cheng beng, cant get out time to return to JB... n i guess d oni time i can return to JB is during my sem break, which is after my last paper on 25th of April lah... Sadness...

Something Unusual...

After d bz n struggling week of midterm last week, n finished rushing d assignment on spina bifida within 3~4 days, finally this week was relax abit... phew... but u think can keep this going for long? nah... for me, now onwards, everyweek i got assignment due... sien...

yest, fri... i suppose to hv LAN class, but then was canceled by d lecturer as she got stuff to do n d class was replaced earlier on d... so i took d opportunity of free time, since i got no class after my advanced quantitative method spss lab, so i went to timesquare for a hair cut n movie, ALONE!!! hahaha... my fren ask u, y so emo go alone? reason is simple, no1 else 1na go loh... cos most of them after tat still got abnormal psy class, which i completed tat a few semester ago... so i took bus n monorail there, walk alone n go haircut alone...

d haircut was nice... went there once b4, quite satisfy with d service n d skills provided... n oni RM25 for cut n wash... not bad d loh... i enjoyed d hairwash yest... d massage was good, n they massage quite long duration... sometimes u go some hair saloon cut, they oni simply help me squeeze n press ur head there a few times then done, wash it... but d massage i got yest was bout 20min or so... nice!!! d end product was nice oso... well, atleast i like it n think it suits me... D oso love it, said suits me very well n i look lengzai with it... hehehee...

after tat, went to watch movie, alone as well... watched "Love Matters"... another jack neo movie... Nice!!!! very funny n d issues they discussed n brought up is very true oso... whole film was shoot in msia, KL i presume... mayb they did travel to other part of msia to shoot i oso duno... well, jack neo's movie nvr fail to make ppl laugh n make them realized smth... a movie worth watching... cos it reali make u think n question urself alot... i mean if u reali blend into d movie n apply it into ur daily life... was keep thinking bout it when i was on my way home, during d traveling journey... cos waited for d train for some time n d bus for 30min+... n d bus was soooo crowded i hv to squeeze my way thro to get down it... phew...

well, not after a whole afternoon of relax, shud get back to work d... journals journals journals again... for serial killer... 1na turn my mind into d serial killer 1 for a few weeks... for d assignment... muahahahahahahaha... ohya, i had my forensic psychology midterm 2 days ago, n i got d result back on tat nite itself (fast huh)... i got 50/60... not bad lah... highest was 55/60... every1 did quite well oso... cos it's d 1st time d paper is not hard consider tat is d paper of Ms Winnee, a famous lecturer in HELP Bachelor of Psychology program... quite hapi with it lah...
